Sarah C. Hessler, M.D.
Sarah C. Hessler, M.D. is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and infertility specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Hessler received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Rutgers University and her medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.
She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Hessler has received many honors throughout her academic career including the
- 2012 Clinical Fellows Abstract Award for the Endocrine Society 94th Annual Meeting
- 2012 Outstanding Fellow Paper for the NY Obstetrical Society
- 2011 UMDNJ-NJMS Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Chairman’s Award
She is also part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Her ongoing research includes the “Effects of Relaxin on Fibulin 5 Protein in human lower uterine segment cells and “Myometrial Artery Calcifications Increase with Age”.

I have special interests in women’s health, fertility preservation, menstrual cycle problems, weight management and infertility.
