Claudia Pascale, Ph.D.

Psychologist

Claudia Pascale, Ph.D. has been in the mental health field since 1979, working with a wide variety of patient populations. She has been at IRMS since 1996, providing individual, group and couples counseling on issues related to infertility. She also provides psychological assessment and counseling for donors and recipients in the egg donation program.

Dr. Pascale received a B.A. in psychology from Assumption College in Massachusetts and a M.Ed. in counseling from Antioch College in New Hampshire. She received her Ph.D. in counseling from Fordham University in New York and additional clinical training in behavioral medicine from the Mind/Body Institute at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Pascale’s training is in cognitive behavioral psychotherapy, with a certification in hypnotherapy, and her specialty is health-related issues with concentrations in women’s health and infertility.

In addition to her work at IRMS, Dr. Pascale has a private practice specializing in individual, couples and group therapy. She also has significant experience with general psychological practice, as well as hospital-based multi-disciplinary teams. Dr. Pascale is a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association and involved in research into various aspects of infertility, including women’s adjustment to donor egg pregnancy and parenting.
